This Privacy Policy explains how TerraQuants collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our website, app, dashboards, portfolio tools, research, newsletters, alerts, APIs, webhooks, beta/waitlist, support channels and other services.
TerraQuants respects privacy and processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), to the extent applicable.

3. Personal data we process
Depending on your use of TerraQuants, we may process the following categories of personal data.
Account and contact details: name, email address, company name, role, country, account settings, login status and communication preferences.
Authentication and security data: user ID, password hash, login history, IP address, device and browser data, verification data, security logs and information about suspicious activities.
Subscription and payment data: selected plan, billing details, VAT details, payment status, transaction IDs, invoices, payment method and data required for administration. Full payment card details are in principle processed by our payment provider and not by TerraQuants itself.
Platform and usage data: features used, dashboards, alerts, watchlists, API calls, webhook configurations, session data, preferences, error messages, performance logs and interactions with the app.
Portfolio and research data: portfolio items, holdings, transactions, wallet addresses, exchange or account references, entered notes, watchlists, risk settings and other data that you enter or connect yourself. TerraQuants asks you to provide only data that is necessary for the service.
Communication data: support requests, demo requests, beta/waitlist registrations, feedback, forms, emails and other messages you send to us.
Marketing and newsletter data: email address, subscription date, consent, preferences, open and click statistics where permitted, unsubscribes and interest in product updates or research.
Cookie and tracking data: information about your visit to the website, cookie IDs, analytics data, browser, device, referring pages and interactions, depending on your cookie settings.
We try not to process special categories of personal data, such as medical data, religion, biometric data or political opinions. Please do not provide such data via TerraQuants.

5. Newsletters and marketing
You receive marketing communications only where this is legally permitted, for example after you have subscribed or when we inform you as an existing customer about similar services, to the extent permitted.

Service messages, such as security notices, billing messages or important changes to the service, may still be sent because they are necessary for providing the service.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
TerraQuants uses cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, security, preferences, analytics and, if enabled, marketing.
Strictly necessary cookies: are required for login, security, session management, load balancing, fraud prevention and the proper functioning of the website/app. These cookies may be placed without consent.
Analytics cookies: help us understand how the website and app are used. Where legally required, we place these only after consent.
Marketing and tracking cookies: are used only after consent, to the extent applicable.
You can manage your cookie preferences via the cookie banner or cookie settings link. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser. Some functions may work less well without certain cookies.
7. Sharing of personal data
We do not sell personal data.
We may share personal data with the following categories of recipients, to the extent necessary:
- hosting and cloud providers;
- database and infrastructure providers;
- payment providers and invoicing software;
- email and newsletter providers;
- analytics and product analytics providers;
- customer support and CRM tools;
- security, logging and monitoring providers;
- data providers and technical integration partners;

- government authorities, supervisory authorities or courts where legally required;
- purchasers or legal successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of assets.
We enter into data processing agreements with processors where this is legally required.
8. International transfers
TerraQuants may process or have personal data processed outside the EU/EEA, for example where cloud, support, analytics or email providers are located in other countries.
When personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, additional technical and organisational measures or other legally recognised mechanisms.
9. Retention periods
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is legally required or justified.

10. Security
TerraQuants takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure.
These measures may include encryption, access restrictions, logging, backups, monitoring, secure connections, password hashing, least-privilege access, security reviews and incident response procedures.
No system is completely secure. If you suspect that your account or data has been compromised, please contact us immediately at support@terraquants.com.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you have rights regarding your personal data, including:

- right to rectification;
- right to erasure;
- right to restriction of processing;
- right to object to processing;
- right to data portability;

13. Automated decision-making and profiling
TerraQuants uses models, signals, risk scores and analytics for market and portfolio insights. This output is aimed at crypto market analysis and is not intended to make automated decisions about individuals with legal or similarly significant effects.
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing about users that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect them, unless this is legally permitted and appropriate safeguards are in place.
14. Children
TerraQuants is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 18 years of age. If you believe that a minor has provided personal data to us, please contact us at support@terraquants.com so that we can take appropriate measures.
15. Third-party websites and services
Our website or app may contain links to websites, exchanges, wallets, data providers, research sources or other services of third parties. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third parties. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, terms or security.

16. Business accounts and team use
When an organisation uses TerraQuants for employees, analysts or team members, that organisation may manage or view certain account, usage and access data, for example for security, billing, seat management and compliance.

17. California / international privacy rights
Users outside the EU/EEA may have additional local privacy rights, for example under UK, Swiss, Californian or other privacy laws.
To the extent such laws apply to TerraQuants, TerraQuants will handle requests in accordance with those laws. TerraQuants does not sell personal data in the common meaning of "sale" as used in many privacy laws. Platform- en gebruiksgegevens: gebruikte features, dashboards, alerts, watchlists, API calls, webhookconfiguraties, sessiegegevens, voorkeuren, foutmeldingen, performance logs en interacties met de app.
Portfolio- en researchgegevens: portfolio-items, holdings, transacties, wallet-adressen, exchange- of accountreferenties, ingevoerde notities, watchlists, risk settings en andere gegevens die je zelf invoert of koppelt. TerraQuants vraagt je alleen gegevens te verstrekken die nodig zijn voor de dienst.
Communicatiegegevens: supportverzoeken, demo-aanvragen, beta/waitlist-inschrijvingen, feedback, formulieren, e-mails en andere berichten die je aan ons stuurt.
Marketing- en nieuwsbriefgegevens: e-mailadres, inschrijfdatum, toestemming, voorkeuren, open- en klikstatistieken waar toegestaan, uitschrijvingen en interesse in productupdates of research.

TerraQuants kan persoonsgegevens verwerken of laten verwerken buiten de EU/EER, bijvoorbeeld wanneer cloud-, support-, analytics- of e-mailproviders in andere landen gevestigd zijn.
Wanneer persoonsgegevens buiten de EU/EER worden doorgegeven, gebruiken wij passende waarborgen, zoals adequaatheidsbesluiten, Standard Contractual Clauses, aanvullende technische en organisatorische maatregelen of andere wettelijk erkende mechanismen.
9. Bewaartermijnen
Wij bewaren persoonsgegevens niet langer dan nodig is voor de doeleinden waarvoor zij zijn verzameld, tenzij een langere bewaartermijn wettelijk verplicht of gerechtvaardigd is.

10. Beveiliging
TerraQuants neemt passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om persoonsgegevens te beschermen tegen verlies, misbruik, onbevoegde toegang, wijziging en openbaarmaking.
Deze maatregelen kunnen onder meer bestaan uit encryptie, toegangsbeperkingen, logging, back-ups, monitoring, beveiligde verbindingen, wachtwoordhashing, least-privilege toegang, security reviews en incidentresponsprocedures.
Geen enkel systeem is volledig veilig. Als je vermoedt dat je account of gegevens zijn gecompromitteerd, neem dan direct contact op via support@terraquants.com.
11. Jouw privacyrechten
Afhankelijk van je locatie en toepasselijke wetgeving heb je rechten met betrekking tot je persoonsgegevens, waaronder:

Als TerraQuants in Nederland is gevestigd, kun je een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Als je in een ander EU/EER-land woont, kun je ook terecht bij je lokale gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.
Wij vragen je om eerst contact met ons op te nemen, zodat wij je klacht kunnen proberen op te lossen.
13. Geautomatiseerde besluitvorming en profilering
TerraQuants gebruikt modellen, signalen, risk scores en analytics voor markt- en portfolio-inzichten. Deze output is gericht op crypto-marktanalyse en niet bedoeld om geautomatiseerde besluiten te nemen over personen met juridische of vergelijkbaar significante gevolgen.
Wij nemen geen uitsluitend geautomatiseerde besluiten over gebruikers die rechtsgevolgen hebben of hen op vergelijkbare wijze aanzienlijk treffen, tenzij dit wettelijk is toegestaan en passende waarborgen zijn getroffen.
14. Kinderen
TerraQuants is niet bedoeld voor kinderen. Wij verzamelen niet bewust persoonsgegevens van personen jonger dan 18 jaar. Als je denkt dat een minderjarige persoonsgegevens aan ons heeft verstrekt, neem dan contact op via support@terraquants.com, zodat wij passende maatregelen kunnen nemen.
15. Derde websites en diensten
Onze website of app kan links bevatten naar websites, exchanges, wallets, dataproviders, researchbronnen of andere diensten van derden. Deze Privacy Policy geldt niet voor derde partijen. Wij zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor hun privacypraktijken, voorwaarden of beveiliging.

Wanneer een organisatie TerraQuants gebruikt voor medewerkers, analisten of teamleden, kan de organisatie bepaalde account-, gebruiks- en toegangsgegevens beheren of inzien, bijvoorbeeld voor security, facturatie, seat management en compliance.
Als je TerraQuants gebruikt via een werkgever of organisatie, kan die organisatie eigen privacyverplichtingen hebben. Neem contact op met je organisatie voor informatie over hun verwerking.
17. California / internationale privacyrechten
Voor gebruikers buiten de EU/EER kunnen aanvullende lokale privacyrechten gelden, bijvoorbeeld onder Britse, Zwitserse, Californische of andere privacywetgeving.
Voor zover dergelijke wetgeving op TerraQuants van toepassing is, zal TerraQuants verzoeken behandelen in overeenstemming met die wetgeving. TerraQuants verkoopt geen persoonsgegevens in de gangbare betekenis van "sale" zoals bedoeld in veel privacywetten. Als TerraQuants gerichte advertentie- of trackingtechnologie gebruikt die onder bepaalde lokale wetten als "sale" of "sharing" kwalificeert, zal TerraQuants daarvoor de vereiste opt-out of toestemming bieden.
18. Wijzigingen in deze Privacy Policy
Wij kunnen deze Privacy Policy aanpassen wanneer onze diensten, wetgeving, technologie of bedrijfsvoering verandert.
